Summer
Reading Assignments
Summer reading is a part of the curriculum
at Miller School. Every student is required to read at least two books
during the summer and complete the written assignments related to the
required reading for each course. Some students will have to complete
more than two reading and writing assignments based on their other
course selections. We encourage you to read for pleasure as well. In
addition to the specific course assignments, the faculty has compiled a
list of books that we recommend.
Click
here to see that list.
Please click on the link for the
class in which you have enrolled below to determine the reading and
written assignment (you will need the free
Adobe
Acrobat Reader). If you have any questions about the assignment,
please contact your teacher directly; the teacher's contact information
should be included with the assignment, or you can
access
Miller's Faculty directory here.
You may purchase the books
for the Summer Reading List from any source that you prefer. However,
to access the list of books online, Miller has partnered with Varsity
Books, and you can
access a link to purchase the books by clicking here,
which will take you to the Varsity Books website. Should you choose to
purchase from another vendor, please make sure that the ISBN numbers of
your purchases match those listed on the Varsity Books website.
