All students at the Miller School of Albemarle have the option to participate in MSA's Pre-Engineering Track. This concentration gives students hands-on experience in relevant areas across the curriculum, equipping them for success in engineering courses at the college level.
Students who complete the Pre-Engineering Track requirements will receive a certificate of completion at graduation.
In addition to meeting MSA graduation requirements, students in the Pre-Engineering Track must complete the following coursework:

Students are also encouraged to participate in the following activities:
- Engineering related field trips
- WWOWW course pertaining to engineering
- Robotics activities
- Engineering competitions
- Summer camp
Students in the Pre-Engineering track will maintain an engineering portfolio.
