The Monticello Service group will be in direct contact with museum archivists, publication specialists, educational outreach staff, and members of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation staff.  Duties will vary during each on-site visit, but will have a focus on testing, composing and preparing educational displays and materials and could involve participation in visitor activities, depending on scheduling.  An overall focus for the group will include evaluation of the Heritage Harvest Festival to be held on the west lawn oval of Monticello's main house on September 16-17 and advance preparation and planning for the 2012 Heritage Harvest Festival.  Service group members will be expected to attend the Heritage Fall Festival on September 17th as volunteers.
