Albemarle Housing Improvement Program (AHIP)

Video by faculty sponsor Mr. John Macdonald

The Albemarle Housing Improvement Program's mission is to strengthen families, improve the affordable housing stock and make our community a better place for all. MSA student volunteers are asked to help construct brand-new houses, install laminate and wood flooring, complete landscaping and repair projects at Park's Edge Apartments, tear off and put up new siding, install windows and doors, build handicap access ramps, make mobile home repairs, and paint the interior and exterior of houses.
